SIZE

My rugs are made using a traditional Swedish loom, which is 45 inches wide. Custom rugs wider than 45 inches are made in strips that are then sewn together to get the required width. This is the traditional way of making large or room-size rag rugs.

COLORS

In order to match your custom colors, please send me color samples, such as fabric or wallpaper samples, paint chips, or cut out color samples from a clothing catalog. Please indicate color proportions (i.e. 50% color 1, 30% color 2, 20% color 3)

PATTERNS

Rugs are available in three traditional Swedish rag rug patterns:

• Log Cabin
• Vineyard Hit'n'Miss
• Double Binding

More contemporary patterns are also available.

Time Estimates

Turnaround time for a custom rug is 6-8 weeks.

Fees

Rugs are $20 per square foot. A deposit of half the cost is due when your order is placed, and the balance is due upon delivery. Shipping is extra. A pattern sample is available for an additional $200. If you happen to live in my area, my studio is also open for viewing examples of my rugs.
